6th IWG World Conference on Women and Sport, Helsinki, Finland, June 12-15, 2014

An IWG World Conference on Women and Sport is held every four years. The first IWG World Conference on Women and Sport was held in Brighton in 1994, and the next world conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland in 2014. More information on the last IWG World Conference in Sydney in 2010 can be found here.

The Finnish Sports Federation has been assigned to chair the International Working Group on Women and Sport from 2010 to 2014 and to arrange the IWG World Conference on Women and Sport in Helsinki in 2014.

The conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland on 12-15 June, 2014 . The conference venue is the Finlandia Hall, located in downtown Helsinki.
